IMS Competition Series filter baskets utilise patented perforation technology to produce precise and homogenous 0.3mm diameter holes with a conical shape, and are electropolished to ensure an unobstructed flow. Achieving the ideal equilibrium between blocking off unwanted substances while allowing for a full-bodied flow of espresso, IMS baskets are engineered to produce the highest quality and most consistent extractions.

Carefully tested for their performance attributes and filtering profiles, each IMS Competition Series basket's shape, size and hole pattern is optimised in relation to the machine with which it will be paired.
FEATURES

Homogenous 0.3mm perforations achieve the right equilibrium between blocking unwanted substances and allowing for a full-bodied extraction with aromatic overtones.

Circular holes with a conical cross-section are polished to remove any corners or burrs, thus allowing for an unobstructed flow of coffee.

The finishing process, which includes tumbling, pickling and electropolishing of the stainless steel—including inside the perforations—leaves a bright and polished surface that facilitates cleaning.
